Would you let AI diagnose you?

This question suddenly feels a lot less hypothetical.

Just this week, HHS Secretary RFK Jr. said AI could provide a “better-informed” second opinion than doctors.

Six major physician organizations pushed back.

My take: Whether you like it or not, AI is here to stay. We need open-weight models that promote transparency, independent evaluation, and innovation.

Doctor + AI is better than autonomous AI alone.

I still want a doctor who can make sense of the whole picture.
