Why do you forget why you walked into a room?
You walk into a room with a thought in your head… and suddenly, it’s gone.
This is actually pretty common. Your brain can temporarily lose track of a goal when your surroundings change. Moving through a doorway creates a shift in context, and your brain starts processing the new environment—which can make the original thought harder to retrieve.
The good news? It usually doesn’t mean your memory is failing. Sometimes your brain is simply saying, “Wait… what was I doing again?” 😅
Fun fact: Walking back to the place where you originally had the thought can sometimes help you remember it!
