When the TV Guide Was Your Streaming Service

Before streaming meant scrolling through endless options, you had to know exactly when your favorite show was on.

The TV Guide was basically your entertainment planner. You’d flip through the pages, circle shows you wanted to watch, and make sure you didn’t miss the latest episode. If you weren't home? You hoped someone remembered to set the VCR. 😄

There was something exciting about knowing that a specific show was coming on at 8:00 and actually having to be there for it. No pausing. No skipping ahead. No watching the entire season in one night.

The limited choices somehow made watching TV feel like more of an event.
